Luis Robert is officially back in action.

Sure, it's in Winston-Salem, and he was lifted for a pinch runner in the fifth inning after singling in his third plate appearance of the night, but it's action nevertheless.

Robert flied out twice to center field before dropping this shanked shot into right field, finishing his first night back at a ballpark 1-for-3.

In other significant news, Micker Adolfo also broke through the Birmingham wall to warrant a promotion to Charlotte, but I'll be covering that in a separate post.

    • Jake Lamb went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.

    • Romy Gonzalez was 1-for-5 with a three-run homer, walk and strikeout.

    • Luis Robert played center in his first rehab game and went 1-for-3.
    • Lenyn Sosa went 3-for-5with a double.
    • Yoelqui Céspedes was 2-for-5 with a double, strikeout and two stolen bases.
    • Luis Curbelo went 3-for-5 with a homer and a strikeout.

Kannapolis 5, Fayetteville 4 (Game 1, 7 innings)

    • Jose Rodriguez went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Bryan Rmaos was 0-for-3 with a walk.
    • Luis Mieses fell a triple short of the cycle during a 3-for-4 night.
    • Harvin Mendoza was 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
    • Caberea Weaver went 1-for-3 with a K.
    • James Beard was 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.

    • Jose Rodriguez balanced out by going 4-for-5 with his ninth homer and his 20th stolen base.
