The 2020 MLB schedule is released. Josh and Jim comb through the calendar to highlight what they think are the critical games if the White Sox are hoping to reach the postseason in 2020.
The best friend of the show, Dan Szymborski, stops by to share his thoughts about the schedule and why Eloy Jimenez is primed to break out big time in 2020.
P.O. Sox questions:
What kind of production do you think the Sox need to see from Mazara to not pursue an upgrade this off-season? Kind of a 2-parter, both in your opinion and also what you think Rick Hahn will be looking for.

I think the record vs the Twins the last few years is a direct cause of the Sox basically for the last decade and a half not designing their team for the home park they play in. The new and improved power heavy Sox lineup should give them the advantage for home games they have flat given away in years past.
Not to be a downer, but after starting the 2016 season 23-10, they were 30-30 after 60 games and had already fallen under .500 prior to that. That ain’t gonna cut it for the postseason.
The podcast mentioned Konerko playing third before being shifted to first. I remember Konerko being drafted as a catcher. Maybe I’m not as young as I used to be.
