FREE AGENTS
No. 1: DH/LF/RF J.D. Martinez (3/72 mil). J.D. would be a perfect fit and fix for DH problem. And with the rate being a very hitter-friendly park he should fare fine on the south side
No. 2: SP Dallas Keuchel (3/60 mil) Keuchel is the lefty starting pitcher that this team is missing. Former CY young winner at only 31 brings a veteran presence that has won the world series and knows what it takes.
No. 3: RP Addison Reed (1/6 mil w/team option of 8 mil) This would fit how the white sox been in the pass bring in a low-end reliever in the hope of either build him up to keep him or trade him.
No. 4: Johnathan Lucroy (1/ 7.5 mil) A valuable back up behind McCann
No. 5: Tanner Roark (1/10 mil) Tanner being a local native would be a good inning eater
Also maybe Jason Kipnis to a one or two year deal. Outside of the big contracts like to the sox give Milb offers to Matt Harvey, Holt, Pence, and Greg Holland.
TRADES
Propose trades that you think sound reasonable for both sides, and the rationale behind them. A good example of a bad idea:
No. 1: Micker Adolfo, Luis Gonzalez, and Gavin Sheets to Yankees for Clint Frazier: Frazier would offer an upgrade in RF and would be a long term fix. With him only being 24 will bring years to come.
No. 2: Dane Dunning to Blue Jays for Ken Giles: This would bring in an reliever that is proven into the bullpen
EXTENSIONS
No. 1: Luis Robert 6 Years 48 millions with two club options
No. 2: Lucas Giolito 7 Years 140 million
No. 3: Yoan Moncada 6 years 78 millions
All three of these deals give the future pices of a contending gurranted good money
