PREAMBLE
Time to add veterans to start winning. Lot of prospects lost their shine due to injury or under performance so I'm not trading any of them yet. Not selling low.
ARBITRATION-ELIGIBLE PLAYERS
Alex Colomé, $10.3M "tender/trade"
Got job done but too many walks & hits for a closer
Yolmer Sánchez, $6.2M "non-tender"
Too much for glove only infielder/wouldn't mind resigning him for half that
James McCann, $4.9M "tender"
Carlos Rodon, $4.5M "non-tender"
Back in July just in time to get injured again in August
Leury García, $4M "tender"
Evan Marshall, $1.3M "tender"

FREE AGENTS
No. 1: Yasmani Grandal C/DH 4/80
Switch hitting catcher with high obp to split time behind plate with McCann so to keep both fresh at end of yr. Insurance for if McCann regressed offensively to his previous yrs #'s.
No. 2: Madison Bumgarner SP 4/60
Veteran lefty pitcher with playoff success as starter & reliever. Need a lefty.
No. 3: Zack Wheeler SP 4/80
Front end starter to pencil in behind Giolito.
No. 4: Will Smith RP 3/24
Lefty Bullpen help. Closer
No. 5: Will Harris RP 2/12
Bullpen help. Righty setup
No. 6: Yasiel Puig RF 3/36
Some might not like his antics but I think he'll fit right in with this team with Abreu, Grandal, Moncada & Robert. He's got a strong arm too. Not many gonna run on him. Platoons with Pederson in RF against LHSP & defensive replacement in RF late in games with lead.
TRADES
No. 1: Trade Alex Colome & Carson Fulmer to Dodgers for Joc Pederson.
They might make trade for Colome alone but I'll insist they take Fulmer too. Pederson platoons with Puig in RF against RHSP & defensive replacement in LF late in games with lead.

When Kopeck finds his control at AAA & ready to come up he takes Lopez spot in rotation. Lopez goes to long relief. Rotation of Giolito, Wheeler, Bumgarner, Kopeck, Cease is pretty good.
Payroll $130 million. I went over little bit but JR has saved quite a bit last few yrs so he can spend a bit more this yr. I also might be off a little bit on contracts too but even if its gonna have to cost a little bit more to get it done. Pony up JR.
