Eloy Jiménez returned to Charlotte. The Knights hit a team-record seven homers.
These things are not necessarily related.
Jiménez went 1-for-4 with a double at the DH spot as he started his rehab stint, but he was overshadowed by a monstrous night for most everybody else involved. Seby Zavala, also making his return from injury, launched a homer. So did Daniel Palka. Matt Skole and Paulo Orlando had two apiece. The numbers, they are crazy in Triple-A.
Our Man in Charlotte Jonathan Lee talked to Jiménez before the game.
