White Sox Minor Keys: May 10, 2019
Out in Arizona, a couple of White Sox who have spent the season as mostly a rumor are starting to stir.
Kim Contreras, who was down at Camelback Ranch to catch Seby Zavala getting back into action after battling wrist issues, also happened to see Jon Jay and Jake Burger getting to face live pitching in extended spring training.
The White Sox have been steadfast in sticking to a June 1 return date for Burger, and this gives him a three-week runway toward playing in regular-season games somewhere in A-ball.
Louisville 5, Charlotte 1

- Luis Curbelo tripled and struck out thrice.
- Amado Nunez hit his first A-ball homer, part of a 2-for-4 night.
Ross Detwiler a move to hold Robert back. Why hold someone back who can score from second base on a sacrifice fly or walk and steal second and third, play defense.
Huh? Detwiler is a pitcher.
PerfectGame released it’s second Mock.
Vaughn.
Bush has really turned it around after his slow start. That’s great to see.
Anyone else concerned about Madrigal hitting .266 in Class A ball?
Not concerned in that I’ve written him off ever being any better than what we already have at second.
