Lots of roster movement preceded the weekend spurred by injuries. The notables:
Birmingham: Received Justin Cassel from Charlotte, as he was demoted to make room for Scott Elarton.
Winston-Salem: Received Kyle Bellamy from Kannapolis as a pair of catchers -- one of them Josh Phegley -- and Leroy Hunt went on the DL.
Kannapolis: Received Trayce Thompson and Phil Negus from extended spring training.
Bellamy should stick at Winston-Salem, but the rest will be in flux. It'll be interesting to see how much playing time Thompson gets considering the relative wealth of talent in the Intimidators' outfield.
