    • Kent Gerst hit a two-run homer, and raised his average to .100.
    • Stefan Gartrell went 1-for-5; Brady Shoemaker went 1-for-4.
    • Wilson Betemit went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three RBI.
  • Birmingham 5, Chattanooga 4
    • John Ely improved to 14-2 by striking out seven over six shutout innings. He allowed just three hits and two walks.
    • Dayan Viciedo went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored.
    • C.J. Retherford went 1-for-5; Jordan Danks went 0-for-4 with a walk.
    • Clevelan Santeliz picked up the save with a scoreless innings, with two hits and one strikeout.

    • Brent MOrel went 1-for-4; Tyler Kuhn went 1-for-5.
    • Justin Greene drew a walk and stole his 11th base.
    • Anthony Carter pitched seven strong innings, with a two-run homer serving as the only damage off him.
    • Tyson Corley blew the save and took the loss by allowing three runs in an inning of work on three hits and a walk.
