Ians random offseason plan
PREAMBLE
This team was terrible in 2023, we need work at every position aside from cf, so luis is the only untouchable one because as much as I don’t want to waste his career here, we’ere not getting a better center fielder here for a while, everyone else can get shoved away bye bye. I’m also really bad at math and bound to go over the budget.

FREE AGENTS
No. 1: Rhys Hoskins(2 year 24 million dollar deal) we need a dh/first baseman who hits bombs because that’s our only way.( you might see a pattern in sluggers)
No. 2: Jordan Montgomery (3 year 70 million dollar) very good pitcher to hold down our rotation
No.3 Jun Hoo Lee(5 year 80 million) good lefty contact hitter in lefty friendly hitter park
No.4 Gary Sanchez (1 year 10 million dollar, club option for 2025) catcher to fill our needs a good defense good bat
No.5: Paul dejong, decent bat and defense will be a 1 year deal for 8 million with club options for 25 and 26
No.6: sign back gio to a 1 year prove yourself 15 mill deal with options for next year
TRADES:
No. 1: Trade Yoán Moncada Dylan cease, Arron bummer, benitedni, Clevenger and Sheets to balitmore for Heston Kjerstad, Austin Hay and Colton Cowser along with Jon Means. add to our outfield of Robert and lee because I’m also trading Benintendi, so prospects and a pitcher for those players is a pretty good haul.
No. 2: Trade Austin Hays and Touki Tousant to La dodgers For michal busch a trade for a team who needs a pitcher and left fielder also dumps the 75 million were paying him.

not so sure about your baltimore trade. Cease has loads of value, but Benintendi and Yoan have so much negative value, it probably erases any return Cease would bring. Not to mention Clevinger has been a free agent for a couple weeks now. Can’t trade him.
On behalf of everyone who can’t get the five minutes back, thank you for putting as much time into this “plan” as Rick Hahn put into negotiating with top free agents. Amazing!
