Writing about the White Sox for a 16th season, first here, then at South Side Sox, and now here again. Let’s talk curling.

With this lineup, it looks like the Sox are making a good-faith run at 101.
Welp, might as well finish out wishing good riddance to the 2023 Sox after that Bears debacle.
How’s Urena, who I have no chance of ever remembering in a future Sporcle quiz, looking?
Sports wise, 2023 can’t end fast enough for Chicago.
I just heard some screaming and moaning from an open window across the courtyard. I intuitively knew to check the Bears gamecast. Yep.
Urena’s looking very impressive through 5
Naquin with a better play going back to the wall than Benintendi has made all season. He’s on the team for next year!
Yea, competence!
Right baseball mindset and full of culture. Multi year contract.
I am watching because it’s the last game, but this game can put snakes to sleep
At this rate, we might even get bonus 2023 White Sox baseball.
For a team that literally quit on the 2023 season, they are really trying hard to keep it going.
Even in a terrible performance offensively they seem to have met their match with the Padres Quad A squad.
White Sox brass: How can we best encapsulate the essence of this season on fan appreciation day?
Make the 2023 season never end.
Finally, the worst White Sox season I’ve seen is over. I have no idea how this team can improve in the offseason to get me even remotely excited for 2024, but the offseason should at least be more interesting than the 2023 games were. I will also be looking forward to the offseason plans the other Sox Machine members put together, which will most likely be better than the real plan.
Padres had zero extra inning victories entering today. Sox helped them avoid history
And that’s a wrap everyone. Truly hope they trade anyone they can, to include Robert and Cease for the right returns of high prospects. Things are looking bleak at 35th and Shields.
Nevermind they won in extras a few days ago vs the Giants
Thanks Jim and all the team for making it possible to at least follow this unwatchable clown show. Apologies to any offended clowns.
What a sad, sad year and so hard to see a path to improvement. At least we have the Bears to help us forget our misery.
Oh, right. Never mind.
