Writing about the White Sox for a 16th season, first here, then at South Side Sox, and now here again. Let’s talk curling.

Classic. For pitches, two outs
Four. Siri is an idiot. Sorry, eight pitches and three outs
Slick double play with Sosa part of it
Amazing moncada strikes out again… Getting to be a habit
Why didn’t Abreu tag there?
He kinda fell down it was bizarre
This team has terrible base running instincts
Yeah, I saw that on the replay. The number of different types of baserunning mistakes this year is quite the list.
My brain is about to explode. Why is Sheets in RF instead of Engel with a lefty on the mound and Vaughn in LF? Does…not…compute…
Reverse splits
Reverse splits don’t explain the two bad outfielders part
Vaughn in the field. Not good.
Feels like another low-scoring loss incoming. Sigh.
Hey Bubic is throwing an excellent game
And KC is playing incredible defense
And our xBa’s are really wonderful, it’s just bad luck
I think that covers 2022
Cueto is busting his ass again and same offense. Who the hell is the pitching coach?
Sorry, hitting coach
You can remove the comma from that and have a completely different, yet still accurate, statement.
They’re such a bad watch
*except Johnny. Results have been great, but results be damned he’s just a joy
He’s the most fun thing about 2022
Sosa looks pretty smooth out there.
Ok…just jumping in to watch the game. I see Cueto getting the typical White Sox run support. Anything exciting I have missed?
Alright….bases are loaded. Time for several runs
Yeah baby.?. EV finally smiling to us
Pinch running for Grandal was a no brainer, but…TLR
Thankfully Matheney is as awful as Tony…we take the gift of the long hook
Now Tony is repaying the favor.
Yep,
That was:
1. Lack of speed
2. Lack of interest. Fielder caught it on back foot. You have to try
Harrison gets a hit, larussa sits him tomorrow .
Now how does everyone think of moncada now? Error and cueto pays for it. Larussa should sit him for tomorrow and beyond
I don’t get the Moncada defenders. I know there isn’t much room on this forum for the eyeball test and anyone who expresses frustration without “data” are dismissed. In my humble opinion, he is physically gifted, but seems to either not care or has a low baseball IQ. It is time to sit him
I don’t get the defenders of this team in general. It’s like they have not watched baseball the past year.
Give a team 5 outs and they will beat you every time.
False. Someone gave the white sox 5 outs in the last two weeks. I do think we got a guy to second base but no score.
Maybe so, but when the Sox got a man to second, was the next batter moncada?
I’m trying to find the game now. I remember it was KC in Chicago. They kept booting double play balls. There is an excellent chance moncada took part in the actual outs
That was a horrible play. That was the play where Abreu and Moncada both didn’t run. I’m sure there was a good reason though!
So close. Moncada was the hitter when Witt was charged with the error.
Next hitter was pollock, strikeout. Then Grandal flies out.
5 outs, and we only got a guy to second. In total it was really bad since the batters were Eloy, Abreu, Yoan, Aj, Grandal
Just end this miserable season already.
500 team. 81 wins
Whatever the result is tonight, we’ve proven that we can hang with this Royals team
Game over… Pathetic
That’s it. I am done with this season. Call me in March.
There are just so many people who should be fired after this series. So many people.
Sure that’s one way to look at it. Another way is that at the end of the day, we’re still the 3rd best team in the AL Central and the Royals are only the 4th best team in the AL Central.
Let’s leave Lambert until they score 265 runs
Moncada happy to mope his way into helping achieve that…
It’s sad, but one of the joys the White Sox have given me this year is that when they lose, Tony loses and I hope that makes him unhappy. I want both, the White Sox to win and Tony to lose every single game he manages
Nice seeing Moncada smiling in the dugout after the game. Especially since his two plays in the field turned the whole game around.
You must not be able to see the beauty in his game
Can anyone recall a ball player as pathetic as Moncada?
Take another strike 3.
About one a game.
Good contact once or twice a week. AND loses the game for us defensively.
