Here I go again…watching another Sox game. I can’t help myself. Bring it on the pain. Go Sox.

metasox

These early starts would seem to benefit the home team’s hitting. Because they bat the bottom half of the inning, they get more at-bats whenever visibility improves

Right Size Wrong Shape

I like the Angels’ unis.

a-t

every day i fire up the stream only to watch them go down without a whimper to right-handers who i mostly have never heard of

ForsterFTOG

Anderson can steal bases but can’t run hard to first?

a-t

ball was hit really hard. not a play you’re gonna beat out

ForsterFTOG

Silly.

ForsterFTOG

88 mph.

funkerdan

so it went through time. I’ve seen this movie.

a-t

launch angle deceived me. anyways i really don’t care much given how often the white sox have lost crucial contributors to injury sprinting to beat out grounders at first

Right Size Wrong Shape

There was no way he was beating that out. What are we doing here?

Foulkelore

Damn, batting practice started late for the Angels.

funkerdan

Meatball Machine

ForsterFTOG

Ballgame.

a-t

liking what i’ve seen from harrison recently

Foulkelore

Just like I’ve been saying, just stack together Leury, Zavala, and Harrison, and watch the runs roll in.

upnorthsox

In general I’ve liked the Anderson, Vaughn, Robert, Abreu, Burger/Pollock lineup but damn, nobody has hit a HR since Vaughn and Robert on 6/20, Abreu since 6/13, TA since 5/22, and Vaughn, Robert, and Pollock have only hit 1 apiece since 6/1. Talk about a power outage.

I’m reminded of this as I watch the Angels hit 3 in one inning off of Cueto.

Foulkelore

There’s Robert. Post more stuff.

funkerdan

you were saying?

a-t

I appreciate the promptness with which Luis made this post obsolete

upnorthsox

I love it when my posts don’t age well.

a-t

Keep it up!

Pantera!

metasox

Good to see something from Harrison who was due for something positive. MLB site currently showing 7 game OPS of 1.053 and 15 game of .896

Oh… I left when they were down by 3 and now we’re winning? Coolio 😎

Foulkelore

Moncada with a hit and didn’t maim himself on the way to first – progress!

As Cirensica

We should score multiple runs here.

As Cirensica

Womp Womp

Foulkelore

Should have – that could be an absolute killer not to score at least 1 run with runners on 2nd and 3rd and nobody out.

Right Size Wrong Shape

.806 OPS from 9 spot: leads majors

Translation: Manager does not know how to fill out lineup card.

As Cirensica

No shit

Right Size Wrong Shape

It’s Shaq Harrison’s brother! I like Shaq Harrison!

I saw this TLR quote re Lenyn Sosa today: “Get back on his stroke. He will.”

Question: Is our manager actually a 900 year old Jedi from Dagoba?

We will know when we see Sosa running the bases with La Russa clinging to his back

Foulkelore

I can’t stop laughing at the mental image of this.

Foulkelore

Alright, that double from Moncada batting left-handed is great to see.

a-t

Yoan is looking better than he has in a long time. Confident strong swings, not late on fastballs, and he just crushed that ball. He’s so important to this team when healthy

soxygen

He also looked pretty good for the first 5 games after he came off the IL earlier this year and then he fell off a cliff…so we’ll see.

Right Size Wrong Shape

Again Seby? Come on, man!

As Cirensica

This explosion of hits could work

So, this is what the soft schedule hoopla, eh?

Right Size Wrong Shape

That was fun. I think we all needed a laugher in our favor.
