I wonder if Jake Burger can play cf?
The offense of this team is just dead
We can’t expect them to score much without Leury in the lineup.
Confused by all those pitches served up on a tee
Is Yaz our backup catcher now? Reese plays a lot. Grandal must be the most expensive backup catcher in the history of baseball
Opposite team’s outfielders get bored when the White Sox bat. It is just groundouts after groundouts. It is getting tiresome watching this dead team.
Remember when this team destroyed LH pitchers?
Maybe getting no-hit would lead some White Sox batters to change something (anything) about their approach.
Okay – glad to be wrong on this one.
Jake shoved my comment right up my pitooty. Good for him.
As far as Triple-A shuttle guys go, Burger is easily both the 1) most fun and 2) probably most competent I can recall in a long while.
Bummer back?? Would be really helpful. That hit to Devers was great hitting, not a bad pitch at all. Graveman better hold em here…
For those of you who are not old enough to get all of Stone’s references, Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” was part of their 1977 album “Rumours”. 1977 was also one of the seasons that was part of young Frank Tanana’s dominant run as a fireballer who teamed with Nolan Ryan to make facing the Angels scary (Tanana was the better pitcher for several years in a row 1975-1978).
There should be a Law that requires all people to own a copy of that record. It is just so great.
Ugh, now Kelly’s hurt after he was starting to look good.
