Have the Sox had a game where the game time temp has been 60 degrees yet?

Yolmer's gatorade

Time to send Keuchel packing.

Yeah, give Cueto one more start at Charlotte. If he needs another start down there, he should replace Keuchel after that. Hopefully we see Keuchel no more than once more, or zero.

hello mr cueto this is the hotel calling to let you know that you have a flight to Chicago that departs in two hours

Sox getting shut down yet again by an ordinary right handed starter. That’s getting old.

Joliet Orange Sox

Prior to today, the Sox had scored 64 runs in 20 games for an average of 3.2 runs per game which is 25th in mlb (terrible!) and given up 87 runs (74 earned) in 20 games for an average of 4.35 runs per game which is 9th in mlb (not bad).

It seems some fans spend too much time concerned about pitching and not enough time concerned about hitting based on the results so far.

Completely agree. Their hitting is atrocious. Keuchel was bad today, but they didn’t score a single run for him. They’ve scored 1 run – total – in his last 3 starts! Even a good pitcher would have 3 losses. Keuchel isn’t good but he is hardly a big reason they are off to such a bad start.

In their last 15 games (not counting the goose egg so far today) they’ve scored 36 runs, an average of 2.4. No team is going to win a lot with that kind of offense, even with good pitching.

The mlb average thus far this year is 4.03 runs per game for each team.

Any right hander with an average two-seamer and/or slider can completely shut this team down. It’s a joke.

Shingos Cheeseburgers

Get this man to Chicago asap. We need the vibes and the arm.

They need Moncada more than Cueto. Yoan with a homer today, I hope he is up damn soon. This team cannot bleeping score runs.

He would also stabilize 3B defense

Scott Boras can’t complain if we DFA Keuchel. Man is done. He should retire.

Tony’s boys don’t quit?

Whooda thunk they would come within a hit of winning this one, down 6-0 heading into 9th. Unbelievable. Maybe some signs of life I guess, but still they need to win tomorrow or they drop 3 of 4 to the Halos.
