Heuer is not good at baseball
Whoa, Yermin indicating he’s stepping away from baseball. I wonder what happened tonight. He started at catcher and got pulled in the 6th. Lambert’s pitching line was bad, and it looks like there were three wild pitches while Mercedes was catching (granted not passed balls, but sometimes catchers do poorly to try to stop wild pitches), so I wonder if he was pulled for performance, and that pushed him over the edge. It’s too bad. He’ll always have April, 2021.
It’s not because of the game today. He had a post hinting at retirement before the game.
Right, the earlier post was hinting at it, so he was already thinking about it, but I’m curious if something from the game tonight pushed him into making the decision.
With this bullpen, 5 innings from your starter is absolutely not enough.
Woah?!?!
