Sigh, Moncada was looking good, and is now hurt. He slid hard into third, and his arm got caught under him. It could be hand or wrist.

Foulkelore

Wow, great, he’s staying in for now.

Man these guys have to learn from Eloy, Madrigal not to get hurt in stupid ways. Was referring to Madrigal slide last year, not his recent injury.

tommytwonines

Moncada, Eloy, Robert, Madrigal – all very frustrating. It seems like their finding ways to sabotage each season.

jorgefabregas

Fuck me. A slide wasn’t necessary there. What a nightmare.

LuBob DuRob

This season has been a mashup of a wet dream and a nightmare.

Foulkelore

And now Moncada is taken out, and Vaughn is at 3B.

jhomeslice

Hopefully Moncada not serious, but still. This is crazy. It’s like they need a high quality backup at every position. Maybe Burger will be up pretty soon, might as well give him a try if Yoan is out for any time.

Yeah, I agree. I don’t want Moncada to go to the IL, but if has to, Burger is the logical call-up.

NDSox12

Is Garcia unavailable today?

Foulkelore

Jason mentioned TLR trying to give him a rest day.

Hamilton is fun to watch

I don’t want to go overboard – that might be super wind-assisted ? — but geez Collins looked strong as hell on that dong.

Minimal load, minimal stride, everything from the hips up and not to the pull side. It flew. He stood up straight and knocked it out.

More of that please (please don’t let it be the breeze).

jorgefabregas

He hit it 103 mph and it had an expected batting average of .820. Not just the wind.

Heuer is just… not good. Whenever he, Foster, or Marshall come in, bad things happen way more often than they should. I wonder if their need for another reliever is a lot more important that we realize. Hope we start to see them use Fry, and give serious consideration to calling up Turley to replace Heuer, if no trade is imminent.
