Watching the pre game show, I feel like they jumped on the coattails of your Jake Lamb analysis.
Also, the way Gio got tossed yesterday is a crazy story apparently.
LaRussa hitting Eaton second is really frustrating
There must be a brilliant reason for it that we just can’t comprehend. I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but Tony LaRussa is a hall of famer baseball person.
It’s ironic, because we all complained when he hit a struggling Lamb there a few times, but Lamb would be a great choice now.
I can’t find any reason why he keeps shuffling the deck other than to not allow anyone to get comfortable in a slot. And that would allow him flexibility later in the year and no one would care. This isn’t a defense, I would rather play them to optimize runs but who knows. Maybe LaRussa doesn’t either.
Yermin just helped build Jim’s case against him.
Couldn’t cover the hard fastball there
Had to take the dogs out. Why’d Turnbull get pulled?
Forearm
What’s the record for difference between OPS and AVG? Grandal has to be approaching it, no?
Nicky Two-Homers
Hendriks is literally our only high leverage right
What a joke
Yikes, Heuer and Marshall
Marshall is just terrible
Why pull Kuechel when he’s cruising along at only 80 pitches. What a crock of crap.
Yeah, that I don’t get, especially with the bottom of the order due (before another time through the order penalty). He had given up some hard contact, but I would have let him try to go one more.
This game just has it all …Clueless move by Abreu
Yaz!
Nice work José…cost us the lead
So there’s no way they actually send Ruiz out there with the game tied in the 8th right?
This Kopech being hurt really bites
Crochet! Hell yes Tony, thank you for not doing that
Yerminator! He didn’t hit it hard, but he got around on 99 mph.
