Sure enough, Yankees broadcasters cannot understand why LaRussa would publicly throw his star rookie under the bus and then say that it was OK for the Twins to throw at him

Nick had plenty of time there not to rush that wild throw.
Odd that it was worth bringing in Grandal as a pinch hitter in the 7th, but not using a better reliever in the 8th. It all worked out, but Tony had his choice of relievers there coming off an off day and Lucas’ lengthy start on Wednesday and I’m not really sure why he chose Marshall.
I wouldn’t bring in Marshall for a hold I know that

I was surprised when he brought Marshall in in the 8th. I was surprised when he brought him back out. I was surprised when he left him in after the first man reached. I was not at all surprised when we lost the game.
Unreal. He only got out of the 8th, because he gave up a rocket line drive, hit right at someone for a double play. I couldn’t believe he was going back out there for the 9th.
Assuming he wanted a right hander. Heuer has struggled recently. Just a question of whether to use the closer in a non-close situation. I can see how options are limited. The bullpen needs to step up.
I’m still going with Heuer. With the stuff he has there is reason to believe he will turn it around sooner that later. Marshall just doesn’t have elite stuff
Rodon throwing exploding sliders

Great job by Abreu and Rodon to get out of that.
Yanks broadcasters said the White Sox got “porched.” That was a home run in only one out of 30 ballparks.
I can’t believe that hit by Madrigal.
Madrigal giveth, Madrigal give upeth
One good TOOTBLAN deserves another.
Oh my goodness Evan Marshall.
Living right.
