Reviewing the performance by White Sox prospects in the Arizona Fall League

The Arizona Fall League wrapped up its regular season on Thursday, leaving only the championship game on Saturday. The Glendale Desert Dogs will not be taking a part in the proceedings, having finished 12-18 after a 4-2 victory over Salt River.

The season-ending stats for the White Sox’ representatives:

*Luis Robert: Hit .324/.367/.432 with five walks, 13 strikeouts and 5-for-5 stealing bases over 74 at-bats.

*Luis Basabe: .180/.333/.180 with 12 walks to 16 strikeouts and 4-for-5 stealing bases over 50 at-bats.

*Laz Rivera: .215/.271/.246 with two doubles, three walks and 14 strikeouts over 65 at-bats.

*Tanner Banks: 22.1 IP, 30 H, 14 R, 11 ER, 3 HR, 5 BB, 10 K, 4.43 ERA. He finished with 168 innings this season.

*Zach Thompson: 13.1 IP, 10 H, 7 R, 4 ER, 1 HR, 6 BB, 15 K, 2.70 ERA.

*Danny Dopico: 12.1 IP, 10 H, 9 R, 9 ER, 0 HR, 12 BB, 15 K, 6.57 ERA.

*Zack Burdi: 4.2 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 0.00 ERA before being removed on Nov. 1 for “general fatigue.”

Glendale 4, Salt River 2

  • Luis Basabe went 1-for-5 with a strikeout and a stolen base.
  • Zach Thompson: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 K, 1 WP
