    • Mark Teahen (RF) went 0-for-4 with two K’s; Jordan Danks the same with one.
    • Brent Morel and Alejandro De Aza were each 1-for-4.
    • Brandon Hynick allowed five runs on five hits and four walks over three innings, striking out four.
  • Birmingham 5, Mississippi 3
    • Eduardo Escobar singled twice, walked once and whiffed once.
    • Christian Marrero was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
    • A collar and a silver sombrero for Justin Greene.
    • Gregory Infante is starting to settle in at Double-A, retiring all four batters he faced and striking out one.
  • Winston-Salem 6, Frederick 1
    • Josh Phegley had his best game of the season: 3-for-3 with a homer, sac fly and three RBI.
    • Brandon Short went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
    • Jose Martinez was hitless over four ABs with two strikeouts.
  • Kannapolis 14, Hagerstown 9
    • Monster game for Brady Shoemaker: 4-for-5 with two homers, a double and six RBI.
    • Tyler Saladino singled, doubled, homered, drove in three and struck out once.
    • Nick Ciolli went 1-for-3 with a homer, three RBI, a walk and a K.
    • Miguel Gonzalez offered a sac fly, a bright spot on an 0-for-4, three-strikeout night.
    • Kyle Colligan went 2-for-4 with a walk, strikeout and two steals.
    • Ryan Buch allowed five runs on five hits and two walks over four innings, striking out two.
    • Jacob Petricka allowed three runs on two hits over two-thirds of an inning, but all were unearned. His ERA is still 0.00.
