No. 1: Jose Abreu (Two Years, 25 million w/ Club option for 3rd Yr). Have to Keep Jose with his leadership and productivity. Takes a team friendly deal at 15 a year which is a bargain for him. Plays 1st base and pivotal part for the young guys as the clubhouse leader.

No. 2. JD Martinez (4 Years 100 Million) A true DH that the sox have been looking for since Jim Thome. Bring leadership, experience, and a ton of productivity from a spot that we need bad!

No 3. Yasmani Grandal (4 years 80 Million) Switch hitting catcher that can play first base as well. 100 walks, 20 plus homers every year and elite pitch framer

N0 4. Cole Hamels  (1 Year 8.5 Million) Experienced lefty for the back end of the rotation who also knows the AL and reliable.

No. 1: Trade Adolfo, Dunning, and Bush to Dodgers for Joc Pederson Joc is owed Arbitration for one more year will make about 5 million, good fielder, lefty and power hitter.

(someone loses out when Kopech is back)

Colome, Bummer, Fry, Marshall, Herrera, Cordero, Burdi (Rodon comes back and pitches in bullpen and takes away from Fry)

I believe the Sox strikeout on premium pitching because some big teams like the yankees, braves, Angels, and others will go for the elite pitching and get them. I feel as if the sox will go heavy on hitting and bring in quality lefties for their rotation. With Kopech coming back and Rodon (maybe a starter but put him as a reliever) they will be more tempted to get hitting as they have some pitching depth. This team comes in at about 128 million dollars if my match is correct. If this is the team they bring out and then are willing to spend more they could easily trade Vaughn for a top starter!
