White Sox Wake-Up Call: July 16, 2019

Good morning. Here’s the rundown:

  • LAST NIGHT: The White Sox offense still can’t get going, dropping to 0-4 in the second half in a loss to Kansas City.
  • TONIGHT: Maybe they can support Dylan Cease in his second MLB start. Both teams will have a change to their catchers.
  • ON THE FARM: Luis Robert is still rolling, success in the rookie leagues, and more rain for the Barons.
  • AROUND THE LEAGUE: So many multi-homer games.

Looking for a left handed power bat, so far they are 43 hit/ 300 at bats for a .014 BA. It’s time for Robert and Mercedes to ride up.

I’d say it would look like Arnold Johnson’s Kansas City A’s roster, except the Yankees abused that franchise with full consent of ownership.
