Listening to my White Sox Wake-Up Call as I’m winding down my shift and getting ready to go to sleep. Convenient really, as their performance during this homestand makes me welcome sweet, sweet oblivion for a few hours.
The Fat Albers voice got me.
Yup. I was typing away at my desk and all of a sudden…*full stop*. Cracked me up.
White Sox are leading the league in wRC+. Even with their poor pitching, they “should” be 5-4 according to BaseRuns (yay lack of clutch hitting in a small sample).
Engel and Saladino are the only two hitters with wRC+ under 100.
I literally came here to post the same stat about wRC+. Spooky.
1st in wRC+ and OPS. 14th in runs.
