Guests: Joe Ostrowski, 670 the score
Trevor Wilt, Kannapolis Intimidators

The Rundown:

  • The Chicago White Sox won a home series! After starting 3-15 at GRF, the White Sox won three out of four against the Texas Rangers as we recap the great performance from Reynaldo Lopez.
  • 670 the Score’s Joe Ostrowski brings his insight about the Supreme Court’s historic ruling that allows states to open up sports gambling.
  • Kannapolis Intimidators PxP Trevor Wilt joins the show to share his thoughts about Carlos Rodon’s rehab start and the Intimidators torrid pace
  • P.O. Sox questions this week:

    Asinwreck:

Jace Fry looks like a part of the Sox’ next good bullpen. What adjustments since last season account for his success?

    Tim:

Any chance the 8 man bullpen gets ditched soon? It leaves only 3 bench players, with one being a catcher. It leaves little to no flexibility in late game situations on matchups.

    Bill Wiggins:

If Juan Soto at 19 is ready for the Nationals why isn’t Eloy Jimenez ready for the Sox? I doubt if any of our outfielders could make it as a fourth outfielder on any other team!

WRT the Sox “breaking” Fulmer, can you break something that was never put together?

The highlight of his pro career was 16 solid innings in Charlotte to end 2016. That was preceded by a mediocre season in Birmingham and succeeded by laying a dud in Charlotte last year and, after benefiting from a dearth of viable starters, a blowout of run in Chicago.

There’s nothing that I hate more in sports than discussion of fantasy stats. That hatred will be surpassed when all sports coverage has to include betting lines, prop bets, etc.

Great stuff from the Kanny guy, thanks for bringing him on.
