Jim Margalus launched Sox Machine Feb. 1, 2006, then relaunched it on Jan. 1, 2018, after spending seven seasons managing South Side Sox at SB Nation. Before turning Sox Machine into a full-time endeavor, he worked as a digital producer for the Albany Times Union in upstate New York for 15 years. He’s a contributor to Bernstein & Holmes on 670 The Score, a resident of Nashville, and a member of the Nashville Curling Club. When not talking about the White Sox or planning Sox Machine community events, Josh is covering the MLB Draft as a member of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and is a voter for the Dick Howser Award. He resides in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood with his wife, Kim, and their dog, Frankie.Â
