White Sox Minor Keys: May 25, 2019

It figures that on a night when the Winston-Salem Dash set a season high with a 17-run explosion, none of the White Sox’ most interesting prospects of that level played a key part. Nick Madrigal and Carlos Perez got the night off, while Steele Walker didn’t really contribute to the surge.

Will you settle for Evan Skoug homering in a second straight game — this one a grand slam — to give him a .250/.344/.571 line over his first eight games at High-A? Probably not, given that he failed to clear the Mendoza Line during his career at Kannapolis, but it’d sure be nice to have a surprise somewhere in the system.

I’d hoped Rutherford would be over leaving the Yankees by now.
