  • Omar Vizquel flipped the batting order the day after they locked in the first-half title, so…

  • Micker Adolfo was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. He was also picked off.
  • Blake Rutherford went 1-for-4 with a double.

  • Amado Nunez went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
  • Lenyn Sosa went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
  • Jhoandro Alfaro, 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
  • Romy Gonzalez was 1-for-2 with a triple and two walks.

DSL Padres 6, DSL White Sox 1

  • Jose Rodriguez went 0-for-4, as did Jefferson Mendoza.
  • Jerrick Francees struck out all three times up.
  • Jairo Labourt, who has 6 games of MLB experience, made his Sox organization debut here and struggled: 0.1 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 1 HBP

Stephens is more deserving of a shot in the major league rotation than Fulmer is at this point.
