  • Adam Haseley was 0-for-3 with a plunking (by Jace Fry) and a strikeout.
  • Lenyn Sosa was 1-for-4.
  • Yolbert Sánchez wore the collar and silver sombrero.
  • Tyler Neslony, 0-for-3 with a walk.

Montgomery 8, Birmingham 3

  • José Rodríguez went 1-for-4 with his 30th stolen base.
  • Yoelqui Céspedes was 2-for-4 with his 10th homer and a strikeout.

Asheville 14, Winston-Salem 8

  • Bryan Ramos went 2-for-4 with an HBP and a strikeout.
  • Luis Mieses played first and was 2-for-5 with a homer and a strikeout.
  • Adam Hackenberg, 1-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout.

  • DJ Gladney went 1-for-4 with two striekouts.

Nice to see Luke Shilling making a comeback

JRod and Yoelqui have both been hot lately. Would be great to see them hit their way out of Birmingham.
