I’m beginning to believe that Harrison can put up a decent second half that’s comparable to his first half with the Nats last season. That still wouldn’t answer the need for a legit, productive 2nd baseman for 2023.
Yeah, but how many times do we get mad when a guy misses the first 2 pitches by a foot, and then the pitcher gets cute with the third pitch and gives up a hit? I think this time you just tip your cap.

Remind me again how much the Sox paid to get kelly? Larussa and the pitching coach should be gone before Sunday. Again, pathetic performances by everyone again.
He certainly threw a lot of off-speed (13 of 16 pitches). The 3 times he threw heat were pitches of 98.2 mph, 98.0 mph, and 97.6 mph. Maybe he’s hurt as the other poster suggested but the speed is there when he throws heat. Good question as to why he’s not throwing more heat.
These are the Detroit Tigers that are about to take the first two games of this series, and we had Cease and Giolito on the mound? It really is getting sad.
I’m thinking we’re done. 2022 is a bust. Who cares how many we’re behind Minnesota when we will probably never even see .500 again? Prove me wrong but I’m thinking probably not.
In any case, I’ll be catching a game in Denver and Cleveland. But at least without expectations, I can just enjoy a couple games with some expensive beer.
Pantera destroyed that one!
I might be mistaken but it seems to me that the White Sox offense performs better when facing left-handed pitching.
It’s hard to tell. They’re so bad against right handers, teams stopped pitching lefthanders against them about a month ago.
Skubal is welcome here any time
Detroit’s first base coach was actually coaching Haase when he reached first. I didn’t think that was allowed.
Well, Detroit has the misfortune of not being blessed with natural baserunners.

Last I check, he was up to 0.7 fWAR which surprised me. Him getting to 1.5 WAR before seasons end would be nice.
Who cares about the All-Star nod? TA won the Blizzard Combo contest against Bryce Harper!
Nice play by President Harrison.
Eloy just missed that one. I love watching him hit to right center.
I heard that Ozzie called Zavala “Telly” the other day. If that nickname doesn’t stick, nothing ever will.
Oh TA. What are you doing?
Did he slip on the base?
Not exactly a fan of leaving Gio in for his last batter to be the guy that hit a dinger the last time up
Nice piece of hitting there by Castro.
Did Pyro Kelly actually throw 3 consecutive knuckle curves to exactly the same spot? Wondering what the thought process was there.
Probably because he looked clueless on the first two. Castro made a nice adjustment.
Sure but it was the most obvious pitch to throw third time. The lack of adjustments night in and out is numbing.

I don’t understand why Kelly is still here. Nor why he is avoiding throwing heat.
Bum shoulder.

(Best Gob impression after turning on game with Sox up 2)
“….. I’ve made a huge mistake”
Maybe this is rock bottom.
We’ve all had this thought too many times this year.
These are the Detroit Tigers that are about to take the first two games of this series, and we had Cease and Giolito on the mound? It really is getting sad.
Rooting against my favorite team.
Good times.
I’m disappointed the Sox lost but I guess I’m glad you’re happy.
They don’t seem to be too disappointed. Can’t imagine why a fan would be.
McEwing finding new ways to be bad.

Still 🙁
It isn’t every day that someone from the White Sox does a good job backing up a play at third. (Too bad it was Super Joe.)
If it wasn’t apparent that Joe McEwing was just taking up space before…
Vaughn pinch hits for Leury!!!
I shouldn’t be so excited.
Then strikes out in three pitches.
Go White Sox.
The team’s still battling. But when it’s going bad, it’s going bad.
They laid down for 6 innings.
Not enough TWTW. And I only write that half-jokingly because it doesn’t look wholly inaccurate.
