It looks like it happened once in an independent league when the team score 13 runs. Ted Williams is the only major leaguer to bat 3 times in an inning without getting a hit, but it was 2 walks and a fielder’s choice.
He certainly seems to have more or less figured things out just in time. It’s still difficult to see him get a start or high leverage innings, but maybe he’s the long reliever over Lopez now?
Eloy getting in a groove right before the postseason starts is a good thing.

Missed the game today, but looks like pretty positive game for Eloy and Keuchel, which is great to see. Especially Eloy. Have to believe this puts Keuchel on the postseason roster. I would give him the nod over Lopez based on experience and recent performance.

Hahn will you please remove Mike Wright from the roster so LaRussa doesn’t use him.
Sox now 2.5 back of Houston, and they play their last 6 against Tampa and Oakland. The Sox could make it interesting if they run the table. Hopefully Jose’s outburst will get them fired up and into playoff mode.
Interesting take by Ryan Spilborghs on ESPN radio after the Abreu HBP+. He thinks TLR will try to use this as springboard to motivate and refocus the Sox. In general Spilborghs is not subject to hot takes and conspiracy theories.
I wonder if anyone has gone 0-3 in an inning. I am choosing to think about this rather than what’s wrong with Jose
My preliminary googling says no. Only a hand full of guys have gotten up three times in an inning

So, I just noticed this thread. This means I won’t have a White Sox game to watch tonight when I get back from work?
I dread the off season
If Keuchel is gonna allow 2 runs and pitch 5 innings, that could work in the post season.

Yeah, I’ve gone back and forth on this, but I think I’m in favor of him being included in October. As of this moment..

Wright is not gonna make the roster, Wright?
He’s not going to make the 9/28 roster, let alone the playoff roster
Jose getting a bit frisky
Looks like the umps wanted this one to end quick

I don’t doubt he’ll try
The Astros win the tiebreaker so their magic number is 3. Pretty long odds.
