Not sure who’s worse, Hahn for thinking this team is a winner or the execs who thought the YouTube or Apple TV announce team is going to attract viewers
In the early days of satellite TV you used to be able to get feeds of broadcasts before they went on the air. I distinctly remember watching a vulgar Chick Hearn sexually harass an off camera production assistant before a Laker’s broadcast when I was a kid.
When you spelled Vaughn’s name, the “n’ gets lost in the “u”s and is out of place. It appears that it is missing. TSWS finished it for you. I suggested that you passed out from shock that a Sox hit another homer rendering you unable to finish typing. (I know it’s a bad joke when I have to explain it-apologies)
Miguel Cairo using Eloy as he should. In the DH spot to conserve his legs in order to keep his bat. Problem with that is the corner’s outfielders look underwhelming without Robert.
I’ll say it again. I’ve never seen a professional sports team so under conditioned. These guys must have done absolutely nothing to stay in shape during the off season.
Liking Cairo’s bullpen management thus far. Less rigid and more creative— calling on Graveman for the 7th because it’s the top of the lineup is something I’ve rarely if ever seen TLR do.

They are better than the Apple ones to be honest. Who are these annoucers again?
Scotty?
Yonder?
Yonder is the player, im not sure the other guy. Normally you get the option to switch to either teams radio broadcast. Not today
It lets me change to Sox radio
Scott Braun, MLB network studio host
I expect at least two home runs today. It is the Miguel Cairo era, after all.
Todays the day….yasmanis going deep
Hey..yasmani went pretty deep
Happy to see Cueto’s F-Ball velo has recovered.
Luis Robert could have been on the IL-10 by now…we could have used another player from the minors.
No commercials during the commercial break, sweet!
I just watched a Nissan commercial
The last 3 breaks I’ve seen a commercial for the peacock lead off game…white sox vs Red Sox on MAY 8TH. Good job guys
I get the occasional hot mike from the announcers. Maybe one of the announcers will Brennaman themselves
That was my thought too. But I don’t think most people are stupid enough to say offensive things when there’s literally a mic in front of their face.

Elvis been productive. Veteran at bats.
Andrew Vauuuuuuuuuuungh!!!!
n
Great assist. I think he fainted.
I didn’t get it. Still don’t.

Oh!
Home runs are good. Keep hitting them.

Sheets swing is imposing. That’s a big dude.
He’s hunting pitches down and in to get to his power, but he’s fighting off or letting go what isn’t there quite well. Good to see a guy zone hitting
Great sign to dispatch a bum pitcher early like they should
We have such incredible ability to hit the ball exactly to the wall without going over. Like prime tiger woods with his irons dialed in.
Andrus is such a solid pro.
And solid professional play is followed by horrendous one. No need for that throw
Indeed.
Cueto’s a magic man, mama.
Catcher’s interference seems to occur a lot for this team
I wonder if they set up too close trying to get low pitches before they fall out of the zone.
Nah, it occurred a lot last year. Pretty infrequent this year or at least not notably higher than average
Phew….
I know the White Sox didn’t just start scoring runs because Tony left. I know that.
Miguel Cairo for life.
16 runs scored since Cairo is the manager (3 games)
Give the man a 5 years extension already!
18 runs in 3 games
7 years extension now.
ROMY is my homie.
Ugh, what’s wrong with Eloy? I can’t imagine a 4 run lead is enough to just pinch hit due to being comfortable with the lead.
Why is Harrison pinch hitting for Eloy?
According to Len Kasper, Jimenez left the game with right leg soreness. ?????
?!
It was all that running the bases.
He has the legs of a 75 year old man.

Abreu mentioned something about living under a rubble of cardboard pizza boxes. So I can picture the off season “conditioning”
Eloy was pulled from the DH spot for defensive purposes.
LOL

Tony’s bullpen management is simple
1) React when the current pitcher is in trouble
2) Only use Hendriks in the 9th if there is a save situation
Sox in the 3 games under Cairo: 7 HR. Sox in the previous 13 games (going back to start of HOU series): 5 HR.
LOL
Foster’s 6-pack: the minimum number of runs to lead to feel comfortable putting in Matt Foster.
