Lynch shutting us down again. April 26th he went 6 IP and gave up 2 H with 7 K. Not sure why this guy is so hard for us to hit.

I’m down with the pitching change. Looked like they could have gone like 10 more innings without scoring on that bad-against-everyone-else but great against the Sox lefty.

Sox should have traded Grandal to Boston instead of McGuire.
Tigers just blew their lead, guardians will have the chance to walk it off. Looking like a fine shot at depression tonight. But I’m sure we were all aware of that going in
In 1972, the Sox won 87 games and finished 2nd in the AL West while Detroit won the AL East with 86 wins.
In 1990, the Sox won 94 games and finished 2nd in the AL West while Boston won the AL East with 88 wins.
There was no wild card and the Sox missed the post-season both years. There was some grumbling both times that Chicago was actually east of Milwaukee (the Brewers were in the AL East).
Even if they struggle against basically the entire American League, if someone says the Sox are a World Series team, then dadgummit they are a World Series team.
One article said that the Yankees and Padres made “serious offers”. Yeah, I’d love to know wtf Hahn called the Angels GM up to suggest. Probably was as ridiculous as the suggestions on some of those fansided sites.
Kopech looking sharp tonight. Hopefully we get one of those special starts
Salvador Perez hit that ball 452 feet. Holy cow.
Holy cow! Can’t even be mad at that Perez homer. That was a mile up
Can’t remember the last time I saw Michael Kopech smile. Nice to see.
Did you mean Kopech, or La Roosa?
Can Diekman hit?
It’s like the offense isn’t allowed to hit with less than 2 outs

Did they forget how to hit Royals lefties all of a sudden?
His first start vs Chicago in 22 was 6 ip, 0 runs, 7 ks.
So he’s working on 11 scoreless on our bunch of losers. Which means his era has to be …700.67 vs every one else
Last year: 0.2 IP 8ER, 5 IP 1 ER, and 2.2 IP 6ER. A little Jekyll and Hydeish
They also didn’t hit Mike Minor at all last year
Sox offensive ineptitude against mediocre pitching apparently not limited to right handers.
Back to .500, then.
Sox have an active hitting coach? This team is absolutely pathetic.
The AL Central race to see which team gets the honor to play in precisely 2 postseason games is unbelievably exciting
I enjoy watching Pasquantino hit, much like I enjoy Andrelton Simmons. Very entertaining.

Zavala clearly the best catcher in this org right now, and he costs 17M less than Grandal.

Much like how the Sox have had a seat at the table for so many transactions they got close to scoring last inning! Trust the process!
I heard that the Sox were close to getting Ohtani, Soto, AND Bryce Harper. Man, so close.
Feels like a “get swept at home” kind of week.
The almost Ohtani news seems to have adversely affected the bats.
They’re almost hitting the ball off the ground.
You guys really know how to enjoy a good ballgame. I think a round of hugs is in order.
Twins started the bottom 9 w two singles. Tried to bunt. Missed 3 times for a strikeout. Then had a runner picked off third. Like looking in a mirror
The whole division is an embarrassment to the game.
Just contract the entire division. It’s been six years since an AL Central team won a playoff series and it’s not looking good anytime soon.

These things go in cycles.
No hits for Yaz since Colorado
Extras unkind tonight.
That was a “my roster spot is safe now” at bat from Zavala.
Horrible call.
Second time I can remember a sox player swinging at a ball that hits him this year. It’s how burger hurt his hand also.
It is so frustrating to watch this team hit in their home park.
This team is also very frustrating in the first games of series.
They’ve been outhomered 71-46 in their own park, a park that is really, really good for hitting home runs, and not so good for other hits.
2022 White Sox: Even Steven.
Even if they struggle against basically the entire American League, if someone says the Sox are a World Series team, then dadgummit they are a World Series team.
Shame the hell out of these bums. Publish the list of who they offered for Ohtani.
