Seby tried to act like he’s been there before, then got to second and realized he hadn’t.

Foulkelore

He also found that it’s easier to hit if the bat stays in his hands.

Don’t. Ever. Walk guys in front of Zavala!

Foulkelore

After Zavala’s grand slam for his second home run of the night, it is now clear: I know nothing about baseball.

Let’s see if the league can adjust back.

The surprises this season just keep on coming…..

LamarHoyt_oncrack

When Grandal is healthy, I wonder if he will get any playing time.

jhomeslice

I’m warming up to liking Zavala better than Collins as a catcher, even if he never has another night like tonight in his career. Collins sets the bar pretty low, at bat and behind the plate.

Really frustrating performance by Keuchel

Shingos Cheeseburgers

Keuchel becoming a below average starter isn’t wholly unexpected but still sucks considering he’s around for up to three more years.

dwjm3

He only has next year Guaranteed …I suspect he might be gone after next year

Yep you’re right he’s got an IP clause that vests for 23. If his ability to get avoid fly balls dries up his value pretty quickly evaporates.

Lol Cleveland plays way over their talent level against us

Shingos Cheeseburgers

Why on earth is Jose Ruíz facing Ramirez here

Foulkelore

Yeah, in this run environment tonight, it would have been nice if they treated the 2 run deficit in the top of 8th as higher leverage.

Zavala is positively Yerminian tonight.

Dallas Keuchel needs to be removed from the rotation.

Joliet Orange Sox

Please fill in the rest of your plan for the rotation after removing Keuchel.

Stretch Kopech out, use an opener, IDK but he keeps getting worse.

jhomeslice

Earlier this week was the first time Kopech pitched in back to back games this year. I know they are trying to be careful with him but I half wonder if having less of a consistent schedule of rest makes it harder on him than if he was a starter with very limited innings.

Last 7 games- TA- OPS .467. Yoan- OPS .510. Jose- OPS .387, SLUG .087. Today those three were 2-14 with one cheap RBI. The 7-8-9 hitters today had 6 hits, 5 homers, 9 runs scored and 9 RBI. The bottom of the order has been carrying this team for a long while now. If Timmy, Yoan and Jose can’t be consistently good, they are in deep trouble. Those 3 get hot for 2 or 3 games, then go into prolonged slumps. That cannot continue.
