Isn’t this how the offense was supposed to work. I’m guessing that they read your analysis of how the “dead ball” has impacted line drive hitters and made adjustments accordingly. Thanks.
I mean, the dead ball is still in effect— at least two of those doubles woulda been gone last year

I know Mendick is a BABIP-furled mirage right now, but damn glad he’s hot when Anderson is out and think he’s gotta be the starting 2B once Anderson is back, at least until he cools off. It’s one thing to wish cast onto Sanchez over Harrison but Mendick is obviously more worthy of those at bats right now.
Yep, and Burger deserves to remain on the team too. I like Harrison as a personality/clubhouse guy, but I expect a Harrison DFA when either Eloy or Tim comes back (whichever is first).

RHP dominance vs the Sox immediately implemented to end the second
There’s another great at bat by Vaughn, leading to a crushed double.
yeah it was. I also don’t hate this lineup today.
Pinch me, I’m dreaming

The Karkovice inside-the-park grand slam clip was fun.
Gordan Beckham’s father-in-law on deck and he didn’t even notice.
Grandal….lol
Ouch.
This error has been very costly
This inning has it all…questionable usage of Giolito, crappy range by Vaughn and of course Grandal
that’s what I get for waking up from my Nugget Nectar induced sleep
Bring back the Rays pitcher that didn’t use his right arm
Tomorrow is an off day, but TLR has to save the bullpen by keeping Giolito throwing in the 6th until his arm falls off. Hall of famer stuff.
Why not leave Bummer in for Choi, and then bring in Graveman?
I guess because Graveman is going to strikeout Choi looking. Ok, then.
The back end of the bullpen looked great today.
They’ve been very well rested this past week!
