Moncada double clutched again on the last play of the game.

If Houston loses today, both Houston and the Sox will have a 27-24 record since August 1. The Sox have had at least an 8-game lead during that time and have periodically rested numerous guys. What’s Houston’s excuse?

I refuse to accept your facts that do not fit the narrative that Houston is marching into the playoffs on a roll while the Sox are stumbling in slumping. Nice try, but not happening.

I think the two narratives are separate. I don’t care so much about Houston’s momentum (whatever it is or isn’t), I do care that the Sox have been snoozing for 2 months. Forget the record since the AS Game (which isn’t terribly good), focus on the mental and physical errors, and the effort, or lack thereof, as the playoffs arrive. Maybe TLR has been preparing the switch, we’ will see fairly soon.
