Stanley Cup champions

Poor Brent Lillibridge. He hits his first career White Sox homer — an absolute bomb, by the way — and this is what he has to compete with.
Congratulations to the Blackhawks and all of us fans.  And I’ll point you to my Hawks blog of choice, The Fifth Feather, for more reading material throughout the celebration.

Good to see Flowers back: it’s D-Day on trading AJ. Awesome Hawks’ victory: haven’t seen/heard it talked about yet, but did Patrick Kane pull a little Michael Jordan juke move before scoring that game-winner?

Two walks for Viciedo? That’s about a month’s worth of production in that category for him…

Not to rehash a debate from yesterday but the great desmond jennings has 0 home runs in 125 at bats this year, with only 9 extra base hits. This guy has been overranked by BA BP and whoever else has them in the top 5 or even 10 prospects in baseball. 4 tool guy, sox would like to have him he shouldnt be untradable even with the pending departure of crawford, hope kenny makes a call.

But shouldn’t we target underrated guys rather than overrated?

knoxfire30

well the media is in charge of the hype machine i dont know how the rays and their management feel about jennings i know he is the replacement for crawford and a very good prosepct but at some point dont you have to go for it? thats a really good rays team with a couple moves they could assure themselves the postseason and a shot at a title
in terms of targets i think the best thing to go after is not underrated guys just guys under the radar or guys who are perhaps blocked by a major league star or another stud prospect

It’s hard to believe both the White Sox and Blackhawks have now won championships in my lifetime. Is anyone now going to care about the Oil Slick Classic?
