    • Chris Sale walked one and struck out two in a scoreless inning in his Triple-A debut.
    • Brent Morel went 1-for-3 with a solo homer (his first on the road) and a walk.
    • Tyler Flowers doubled, walked twice and struck out twice.
    • Jeremy Reed was 1-for-4 in his return to the club.
    • Jeff Marquez allowed one run on two hits and two walks over six innings, striking out five.
    • Clevelan Santeliz threw one pitch. Uh oh.
  • Birmingham 8, West Tenn 3
    • Christian Marrero was 3-for-5 with a solo shot, striking out once. It’s his third three-hit game in his last four.
    • Eduardo Escobar drew a pair of walks.
    • Justin Greene was 1-for-4 with a double, strikeout, three RBI and an HBP.
  • Salem 7, Winston-Salem 6 (10 innings)
    • Brandon Short went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a strikeout.
    • Jon Gilmore was 1-for-5; Jose Martinez 0-for-5.
    • Nathan Jones allowed one unearned run on three hits and two walks over five innings, striking out four.
  • Princeton 5, Bristol 0
    • Everybody we follow was 0-for-3.
  • Great Falls 8, Casper 1
    • Andy Wilkins was 2-for-5.
    • Ross Wilson was 1-for-4 with a walk, strikeout and RBI.
    • Leighton Pangilinan singled, homered and struck out over five PAs.
