    • Carlos Torres held the IronPigs to one hit over 6 1/3 innings. He walked three and struck out four.
    • Tyler Flowers hit a solo homer, walked, and didn’t strike out once.
    • Jordan Danks went 1-for-3 with a sac bunt, but was caught stealing.
    • Brent Morel went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
  • Winston-Salem 6, Kinston 5
    • Jon Gilmore hit his third homer of the year, part of a 2-for-4, two-RBI day.
    • Justin Greene did the same thing, except another one of his PAs ended in a walk.
    • Eduardo Escobar singled, doubled and struck out over four at-bats.
    • Brandon Short went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.
    • Nevin Griffith struggled: 4 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 4 BB, 0 K.
    • Santos Rodriguez struck out three over two perfect innings.
    • Dan Remenowsky struck out six over two innings allowing a hit and a walk.
