    • Stefan Gartrell is on a little bit of a roll, going 2-for-4 with a double.
    • Brady Shoemaker homered!  That’s neat.
    • Wes Whisler was mediocre: 5 IP, 6 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 4 K.
    • Two scoreless innings for Jon Link, allowing a hit and two walks and striking out two.
  • Birmingham 7, Chattanooga 2
    • Jordan Danks hit a solo homer, and stole his seventh base.
    • Dayan Viciedo went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts, but committed his 30th error.
    • C.J. Retherford doubled twice; Lee Cruz homered twice along with a double.
    • Justin Cassel struck out eight over 6 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on eight hits and a walk.
  • Winston-Salem 10, Salem 7
    • Justin Greene homered twice, walked and drove in three runs. He also stole his 10th base.
    • Brent Morel went 1-for-6 with two RBI, striking out once.
    • Seth Loman singled, doubled, and homered.
    • Justin Edwards allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk over five innings, striking out two.
    • Hector Santiago struck out three over two scoreless innings for the win.
    • Nathan Jones allowed two runs on two hits over an inning, recording two K’s.
  • Hickory 2, Kannapolis 1 (10 innings)
    • Daniel Black went 2-for-4 with an RBI; Sergio Morales had two singles.
    • Jon Gilmore went 0-for-3 with a walk; Josh Phegley wore the collar with a K.
    • Stephen Sauer struck out seven over six shutout innings. He allowed just two hits.
    • Drew O’Neil walked five over two innings.
  • Great Falls 9, Missoula 0
    • Jesus Avila doubled, homered and drove in two.
    • Jose Vargas went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
    • Kyle Colligan and Nick Ciolli each went 1-for-4.
    • Jimmy Ballinger allowed just three hits over five innings, striking out one.
