    • Dayan Viciedo went 2-for-5 with a double, RBI and a strikeout.
    • Jordan Danks also went 2-for-5, striking out twice.
    • Brent Morel went hitless in five at-bats.
    • Lucas Harrell had a fine outing, allowing a run on five hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out five.
    • Not so good for Jhonny Nunez in his return to Triple-A, as he gave up a two-run homer in his inning of work.
  • Tennessee 3, Birmingham 2
    • Charlie Shirek allowed three runs (two earned) on 10 hits and a walk over five innings, striking out one.
    • Christian Marrero went 2-for-4; C.J. Retherford was half as good.
  • Winston-Salem 2, Kinston 1
    • Terry Doyle struck out eight over eight scoreless innings. He limited the damage to just four hits.
    • Kyle Bellamy allowed a run on two hits over his inning, striking out two.
    • Eduardo Escobar went 1-for-3 with a sac bunt.
    • Brandon Short and Jon Gilmore each went 1-for-4.
  • Greenville 6, Kannapolis 4
    • Brady Shoemaker went 2-for-4 with a double.
    • Miguel Gonzalez had a single over four at-bats.
    • Joe Serafin allowed all six runs on the fifth inning.
