Hahn has said in the past that decisions are typically made by consensus of him, Jerry, and Kenny.
We know Kenny was involved in the Madrigal trade and now the Burger trade. I guess the question is when does Jerry come in to play. I’m guessing he dips his toe during the offseason free agency period and of course he decides to hires coaches from time to time.
Yeah I didn’t think the Ng comment was odd. Within the larger narrative (e.g., Hahn saying, “whoever is in charge”), maybe. But, honestly, it’d be crazy if Hahn was the only one making calls and positioning for deals at the deadline. I’d think you’d want a squad of employees having conversations with other orgs.
It’s not unusual at trade deadlines for different execs to take the lead on different trades. I remember the Dodgers were credited for the quantity of ex-GMs in their front office, that allowed them to make several transactions in short order at one point.
“Rickenny”, “Kenick” or “Hanillimas”?
Kenny Hahnsdorf?
For what reason, other than extreme stupidity or incompetence, are Grandal and Andrus both in the lineup today?
The reason is that this org is pure, stupid evil from top to bottom. Colas at DH with Thompson in RF as well.
Sosa should have replaced Andrus on the roster and in the lineup weeks ago. They are dumber than you know what.
It’s almost like they want to not give the young guys a chance. I just can’t figure it out. How can you be so stupid?
There is no excuse for Andrus still being on this team.
