A tthree-bagger and Eloy didn’t hurt himself running it out!
It might be scored a double + advancing on the throw, but still, I’ll take it.
Yeah, I originally wrote triple but realized it really wasn’t one.
Stone really making the case that weather is the reason for the Sox record?
He does love his weather.. and socks.. and sox
It is unfair how every time the opponent comes to bat in April the temperature goes up 20 degrees, and then when the Sox come up it drops 20 degrees.
stupid swirling winds bring the cold.
After watching Benintendi in left all season, it’s a mystery to me how he ever won a Gold Glove. He’s just not very good.
everyone else was that much worse in left field?
He won a Gold Glove?
😳
Two years ago. He has a noodle arm, is wall shy and is overly conservative on balls in front of him. I don’t know what he does well.
Apparently he’s net-shy too.
The Rafael Palmeiro Gold Glove Award
So the Sox are doing that thing where they keep injured players on the roster again and play a man down?
Two tonight.
They believe avoiding the IL is a huge thing. Better to have an injured player in the bench for 8 days than to put him on the 10 days IL
Welp
I was always under the impression that Frazier was a guy who had good power, but he looks really small and the ball doesn’t seem to jump off of his bat. He’s got a good eye, but other than that there doesn’t seem to be much there. I know Colas has struggled, but it might be time to give him or someone else a shot out there.
Kopech hurt or just Lossing effectiveness?
Reply fial.
3-run blown call by the umpire. This guy is horrible, just all over the place.
At this point I can’t even get angry anymore – it’s just sad.
Another one win series?
Vaughn hit it out as I type this
The scoreboard-watching on the TV broadcast is getting incessant.
I know that they’re company guys and they can’t express the same anger we can. But sometimes it feels like they’re talking about what’s happening with Minnesota or Cleveland almost as much as they’re talking about the Sox.
It’s hard to talk about these sox is my thought. I’ve given up listening and switched to music long ago. I can’t scoreboard watch when we’re this terrible. call me if we ever crest .500
Don’t hold your breath for that call, could be a few years.
no, I also don’t cross my fingers. It is too painful to do either for that long
Really sounds like they have given up on the Sox moving up. Now just hoping everyone else falls down.
Why are we bunting?
Pedro’s a REAL bad manager. Like, Ventura-level bad.
worse, he actually wanted the job.
Touissant looked good.
Another guy fresh off the trash heap. He could be to the Sox what Diekman is to the Rays! And we get to see how he does in no pressure games/innings that don’t mean anything, b/c none of the Sox games or innings mean anything.
Too bad the Sox couldn’t challenge the pitch prior, which should have been strike 3.
Why wouldn’t you pinch-hit Popeye for Sheets?
I was thinking the same thing. Get the kid his first at bat, plus he has a much better chance against a lefty. Remillard is supposed to be versatile and could move to RF if they tied it with Jose staying in at 2B.
Yep, Remillard actually did move to RF at the end of yesterday’s game.
Pedro Grifol
cramps, did we lose? I stopped paying attention while listening to Ghost Noise.
I’m not familiar with Ghost Noise, but I’m sure it’s better than the band Ghost.
probably 2014-2017 but there are at least 32 artists known as “Ghost”…. that’s the problem with names.
I have a recorf by Ghost, a Japanese musician. It’s good if you like weird.
