By my count just scrolling through the game logs, Lynn has given up 22 ER in 34 IP versus Cleveland since the start of the 2021 season.
I know the Sox hit McKenzie well in 2021, but he’s obviously a different pitcher this year and has looked better versus us in both starts this year than in any game that I remember from last year.
Should be a fun game, and fortunately we have a well-rested pen in case Lance stumbles.
Hold their own? The Astros relievers lost the 2 games the Sox won.Sox need to show up offensively from the first inning every game. If the Sox do make the playoffs, the Astros will be waiting for us .
