Plus, it’s an exclamation mark, so it makes it sound rightfully exciting. Mine could be read the same way as one might welcome Leury back from the injured list.
They need to just sit on the fastball and not even bother with that curve. If he’s going to call it a strike no matter how low it is I would just ignore it.

At a client dinner and on the road without access to games…to save some heartburn, can the Sox just agree to start games down 2-0 without the bad play in the field and crappy plate approach that leads to an early deficit?
We should have got more but 2 runs and ran the pitch count on framber to 67. Great inning! Now kopech needs to step up and shut the tough part of their order down
And he’s deceptive, and he’s competitive. The only weakness I see is that he tries to be too perfect and gets behind in counts or walks guys sometimes. He’s been really good for a while now, though.
Down two runs to Detroit with two out and nobody on in the 8th, Maile on Cleveland strikes out on a wild pitch, but reaches first. Six runs later the Guardians are leading 8-4.
Even if we lose, this has been a good game. I wish Harrison didn’t swing at the first pitch with the bases loaded but the White Sox are battling. Showing mettle.
He and Colas are both making a pretty good case for AAA promotion. Hopefully we see them both up next year, they can’t be far away from being better than Garcia, Romy, Sheets.
Did we sign Elvis yet?
Elvis has left the building…
Maybe Romy will hit one out of the building
Good call! I’ll take a double
Almost
Your prognostication was half right.
4 pitches, Sox have 2 outs, 4 pitches, Astros have a man on third. Can the Sox just throw strikes?
Oh yeah, I remember why they got Maguire during the off-season now. So does Houston.
Do Elvis or Lenyn or Leury or Timmy make that play?
We want to love this team….and then we forget how many outs there are in the 3rd inning
Welcome back, Romy!
You win by 2 seconds.
And he had time for one more character than yours

Welcome back, Romy
Romy is my pick to click. I’m looking good so far.

Eloy has a hit, but on another grounder. He needs to start lifting more balls. Framber is a groundball pitcher though
Moncada waking up is a tremendous development
CUETO. that’s what.
Harrison…why….pitcher is having command issues, why swing on the 1st pitch
I didn’t like that either. Gotta make him sweat a little.
Great at bat Engle
Also, great at-bat Harrison. The baseball IQ of this team is low
Just wait for the 4th strike. He’s going to crush that one.
You made me spit my drink out. Great one! Seriously, thx. I needed a laugh after this pitch
Edit, week
He’s probably still rattled from that first ab.

Lower that launch angle just a few degrees, Eloy, and the Sox would have the lead.
Didn’t the Sox take Kopech out of the game after 85 pitches while he was throwing a no hitter? Today they keep him in the game.
100 mph sinker and then a 91 mph sinker is a helluva combo. Joe Kelly’s stuff is really nuts when he’s right
And he’s deceptive, and he’s competitive. The only weakness I see is that he tries to be too perfect and gets behind in counts or walks guys sometimes. He’s been really good for a while now, though.
Edit: Of course, health is always a concern, too.
He has the pace of a snail though.
Doesn’t seem to bother him.

Wow.
A hard slide to break up a double play. When was the last time we saw that?
I really don’t like the Astros, but that double play turn was unreal.
If there is an opportunity to hit the 1st homer of this series is now. Come on boys.
Well look at that, Luis Robert lives.
This is where they need a HR, not a walk or another single!!!
Luis Robert sighting…great to see
Does Moncada have another one in him?
😬
He did not. Time for a different hero.
Nope. Aaaaaaand, we’re back
Did Charlie just run on the field?
I read it was just a kid
Nice parenting.

Sox not getting any calls on first pitches the last few innings.
Popeye homered again tonight. Mercy!
