Fell asleep in my chair around 8:00, and just woke up to find that the game is only half over. I love west coast baseball.
This is the second time I’ve seen this rules violation lately go uncalled.
Top 4, 2 out, 0-1 vs Harrison. You can clearly see Ohtani shaking off pitch com pitches and then agreeing on the last one, and then he steps on the rubber.
This is a violation of rule 8.01 stating that, pitchers shall take signs from the catcher while standing on the pitching rubber.
I noticed that, but I wasnโt sure where his feet were. Surprised HOFBP TLR didnโt alert the ump.
Happened the other day also where the closer was frustrated he wasn’t pitching well and was walking around the mound while shaking off pitch com pitches
I guess everyone is sleeping already. I am waiting for the Angels pen to give us a chance. Ohtani is tough to hit
Did I just see an umpire clapping for Ohtani as he walked off the mound, or was that a security guard?
That was a big spot in the game. I wish Vaughn would have pinch-hit for Leury there. Is Haseley still unavailable?
Yep, that would have been smart.
Don’t like Kopech coming out for the 6th. He looked pretty gassed last inning.
You were saying? Can Sox Machine people just manage this team?
It’s so frustrating.
It would problematic if suddenly the Sox improved dramatically after we replaced TLR. That could be considered proof that “We’re Hall-of-Famer baseball people. We’re legit.” The Hall of Fame would then face the difficult situation of fitting all of us on one plaque.
Would they do it by height? I always get stuck in the back row.
I canโt believe there could be 2 1/2 more years of watching Leury Garcia bat.
I rather watch 5 more years of Leury than 1 more game with TLR managing
TLR always trying to get an extra inning from our starting pitcher is killing the White Sox
Hey, the 6th inning was HIS inning, until it wasn’t.
TLR managing style is reactive. He has no plan. He develops the plan as the game goes and generally this is a terrible strategy
It’s called managing by feel. Unfortunately, The Russa probably has terminal neuropathy.
When do the Angels have to actually start serving their suspensions?
WPO!
Bullpen’s been nasty tonight. Too bad Tony didn’t utilize them when the game was close.
Welp, that sucked.
Another series loss in the soft part of the schedule. The White Sox are one sweep away from the Twins or the Guardians in th upcoming series to be practically eliminated.
