Root Cause

Someone found a bag of last years balls.

Abreu lunged at that one and nearly made it to the track.

Jake Burger doing his best to end his own career.

Jeezus, a 14 pitch walk. I guess Kopech isn’t destined to go super long in this one. What a pest that Rivas guy is fouling off so many pitches.

Well…that double play helped a lot

Amen!

He needs 1 more inning to get his first win. Wonder if they will send him out there in the 5th with 80 pitches.

Shingos Cheeseburgers

Holding Harrison at third on the Yas single. Woof.

I realize Harrison had slowed a bit due to the stop sign but Happ had the ball in shallow left by the time Harrison reached third base. Sending Harrison with only one out would have been very aggressive in my opinion.

I know he’ll probably drive in 100+ again, but man does Abreu ground into a ton of double plays when all they need is a fly ball to get a run home.

Nothing new there. It’s part of his game. Always among the leaders in balls hit for double play. I believe Konerko was like that.

Foulkelore

Lopez looked good. I’m surprised they didn’t let him go at least one more inning with 5 total to cover with the bullpen.

Phew… Ruiz. That was too intense

Since when does Matt Foster touch 97??

Joliet Orange Sox

I had a similar thought. Are the units different from miles/hour?

2 wins in a row…i like where this is going
