2-1 against a playoff caliber team with Velasquez-Keuchel-Lambert vs. Ray and two talented righties? I’ll take that 10/10 times.

I will be watching the offense closely this weekend, however. They hit a lefty hard in the rain, but didn’t look great the other two games. They scored 4 other runs: two were the result of errors, one was Eloy beating out a double play, the other was a Robert HR.

The lineup starts to look pretty thin when Mendick, Garcia, and McGuire are all needed to start. I guess that’s not surprising when missing 4 out of 9 starting position players.
