2022 MLB Draft Day 3 Draftchat

The third and final day of the MLB Draft commences at 1 p.m. CT. It covers rounds 11 through 20, which you can follow via an audio feed on MLB.com, or via the MLB.com draft tracker. The picks come off the board even faster than Day 2, which was a minute in between picks.

You can also bypass the audio feed of the draft and instead listen to the FutureSox podcast, with Mike and James discussing the White Sox’s first 10 picks, and where they fit into the organization’s top 30.

“Played 7 positions” – guess we know which member of the management wanted him!

I guess we’ve decided that pitching is a priority this draft.

Does anyone know why we do not have a 20th rnd pick?

soxygen

Is that the penalty for signing a utility infielder to a 3-yr deal? I’ll have to check the CBA…

The “Since you’re so extravagant we’ll take one away” penalty.

We do, I think there was an error on the draft tracker.

Happily Hammerberg has a breaking ball, as it would be malpractice to lack one with that name.

Will he and Cannon be teammates?

So much for going young. 4 5th year seniors and 4 4th years seniors. Only 1 high schooler.
