Sox Machine news: Annual plans and new pint glasses

As far as I’m concerned, it’s always a great time to support Sox Machine on Patreon. As we enter the final month of the regular season and what we can only hope will be a run deep into October, this would seem like a better time than most. You can get an ad-free version of the site and Sox Machine Podcast for as little as $2 a month. Your support helped facilitate a pretty swift move to a new and improved host, and site performance has benefited greatly from the switch.

But I wouldn’t be devoting a post solely to supporting Sox Machine if I didn’t have actual news to share. Maybe I should, but here are the new developments to highlight:

ANNUAL PLANS ARE HERE: Patreon didn’t offer annual memberships when I relaunched Sox Machine, but they gradually rolled out the option over the last year, and now I’ve incorporated it into Sox Machine support tiers.

Supporting annually comes with a 9 percent discount across all levels, which is roughly 12 months for the price of 11. New members will have the option of supporting monthly or annually when signing up. For current members, here are instructions on editing your membership.

NEW 10 WAR REWARD: For new members of the 10 WAR tier who support with an annual plan, I have a new batch of engraved pint glasses, which you can see above, or in this high-caliber ad below.

PINT GLASSES: I will be putting the pint glasses on the Sox Machine store once I gauge how many to set aside for new memberships. As always, Sox Machine supporters will get an early notice when they’re live.

Let me know if you have any questions. As always, thanks for your past, current and future support.
