White Sox Wake-Up Call: Aug. 24, 2021

Good morning. Here’s the rundown:

LAST NIGHT: The offense can’t get it going, Craig Kimbrel experiences turbulence in the eighth, and the White Sox lost the opener in Toronto as a result.

TONIGHT: It’s Dylan Cease against José Berrios, but don’t expect to see Tim Anderson.

ON THE FARM: The ACL White Sox and DSL White Sox both lose by one run, and new series for the other four affiliates start tonight.

AROUND THE LEAGUE: The Padres fire their pitching coach, the Yankees win 10 in a row, and the Cubs snap their losing streak at Wrigley Field.
